Using the impedance probe and Z-width plots combined with virtual stiffness-damping plots, I show that added active electrical damping improves the performance of the haptic display.This was implemented using a large DC power supply, with the motor in series with an H-bridge and parallel array of power Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field- Effect ...
